Valrie Charles
General Manager


Valrie Charles is a great example of Pengeo’s policy of promoting from within. Valrie was hired as prep in 1986 and has worked up thru every position available at the restaurant.  

Valrie is now General Manager of the restaurant. She takes pride in the fact that she can perform all the tasks necessary to run “her” restaurant.  Valrie and her team have been the recipient of many National and Regional KFC recognitions and awards.  Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Hospitality are just words to Valrie, they are the standard by which she manages the restaurant on a daily basis.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her grand-daughter, shopping and dancing



Reginald Owens
Assistant Manager


Reginald Owens brings a wealth of restaurant knowledge and experience to the PenGeo, Inc. He has worked in the fast food industry for over 30 years, at one time owning his own restaurant.

He is a man of few words but a lot of wisdom.  He is customer service driven.  Reggie possesses many talents.  He is also a professional photographer.  His photographers’ eye for detail comes in handy when running the restaurant; having the ability to have a 360 view of the operation.

Reggie is the proud father of three children, two sons and one daughter.

Catherine Clark Smith
Buffet Manager

  Catherine Clark Smith is the Buffet Manager at KFC and the most tenured associate at Pengeo, Inc. Her career began in 1985 as a prep.  

Catherine develops the menus for the Buffet and trains all new food prep team members. She has raised the bar on KFC Buffet dining.  The pride in the quality of the product she prepares is evidenced in every bite.  

When Catherine is not working, she enjoys spending time with grand-daughter Cleia. She is the essence of what being 'Pengeoed' is all about.
